We came across this Facebook post recently, and felt obligated to point out one important detail:

In the spirit of preventing further confusion, we thought it was worth noting that the original article from Funker530 is very much Canada specific news. With Cabela’s being tied to a multitude of other big news headlines recently, we simply wanted to stomp out a potential wildfire before one began . . .

Surely you’re aware that Bass Pro Shops finalized the “mega deal” to acquire Cabela’s last month, and that has nothing to do with this report. 

As far as every Cabela’s store across the United States goes, the Veteran & First Responder discount remains very much intact.
