Country music star Luke Bryan is all about “Huntin’, fishin’, and lovin’ every day,” so it’s only fitting that he and Chevrolet work together in collaboration to build a Chevy Suburban that encompasses that mindset for the 2017 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Instead of just simply jacking this bad-boy up and slapping a coat of paint on it, let’s just say Bryan and Chevy had other plans for this beast.
Let’s take a look under the hood and see what we’re dealing with here . . .
Accordign t0 The Drive, this 2018 Suburban concept features the standard 5.3-liter Vortec V-8 engine making 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Don’t go entering any drag races, though, the 35-inch off-road tires and significant lift on this baby slow it down a tad.
Chevy also added six piston Brembo brakes to the front, a Baja Designs LED Light bar to the top, as well as a roof rack and running boards to further add to this country machine’s adventure capabilities.
For the finishing touches, Chevy threw an orange mesh grill, a bad-ass ‘Hunter Bronze’ custom paint job, and dark carbon accents – of course, don’t forget the “HFE” decals, too!
As much as we’d love to cruise around in this vehicle, Chevy says they have no plans on producing it for the public.
