An unidentified sea creature washed ashore on St. Simons Island in Georgia last week, and a closer look appears to show something resembling the Loch Ness Monster.
As News4Jax reports, Jeff Warren and his son were spending the day at Wolf Island National Wildlife Refuge, when Jeff noticed something mysterious in the surf. Initially, he thought it was just a dead seal, but when he got closer, he wasn’t sure what he was looking at. . .
Jeff snapped a view photos of the mystery sea creature, and sent them to an expert for further examination. Jeff stated it was roughly 4 to 5 feet long with two fins, and apparently has small teeth less than an inch long.
Here’s a short video showing photos of the creature:
What do you think? Is this some sort of prehistoric creature we’re seeing for the first time, or just a hoax?
Scientists haven’t been able to figure out exactly what it is, but one expert from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reportedly said there’s a possibility it’s a partially decomposing basking shark.
