Leading up to the biggest event in UFC history, millions of fans across the world debated the outcome of a fight between an undefeated world champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and former two belt champion, Conor McGregor. However, we dug up a video showing Khabib Nurmagomedov bear wrestling at eight-years old that suggests Saturday night was just a matter of time.
Now, you’ve probably heard about the explosion of chaos that ensued following Khabib’s neck crank submission over McGregor at UFC 229, but what does that have to do with the outdoors?
Well, if you’re like me and were intently watching the fights Saturday night, Khabib’s performance may have reminded you of a video that has followed him around throughout his career.
See, Khabib showed signs of a promising wrestling profession at a very young age. The only thing was, it wasn’t in a wrestling ring. . .

Khabib on the other hand, was wrestling bear cubs by the age of eight-years-old. No, seriously. . .
Given the 30-year old grappler from Dagestan had grown up going toe-to-toe with freaking bear cubs, it wasn’t totally surprising to see him maul and overpower McGregor during their UFC 229 main event bout.
