SHOT Show 2019: Condor rolls out new armored vest, bag, new K9 harness

Tactical apparel maker Condor, of California, showed off three new pieces of kit at SHOT Show 2019.
The Pursuit Pack can be worn as a backpack with Level III plate inserted for protection. Condor partner company Covered Six supplies the plate, which is also a fit for their active shooter shield featured at SHOT Show 2018. When not worn, the pack is made to be carried messenger bag style.
The pack is inspired by field-tested special operations medical bags, which is to say, it’s built with organization in mind. Both sewn-in and modular hook/loop pockets abound inside its plush, padded interior.
Unique to this bag is a continuous loop of rolled webbing handle, which supports the load from the bottom and sides when it’s picked up using the webbing. The loop is the perfect length for throwing over a rolling suitcase handle to ride along atop the case as a carry-on for air travel. Colors will be tan, black, and others to be determined; not all in the tactical palette.
The well-padded Pursuit Pack is especially suited for carriage of camera gear or other electronics. A pre-summer release is anticipated, with a price of $89.95.
A new armored vest is ready to go. The Vanquish Armor System has pockets for soft or standard plates. What’s different about it compared to most is one-click, easy-off removal. The cummerbund will accommodate hook-attached accessories like the M4 mag pouches shown. The Vanquish Armor System vest is $75.95 sans plates.
Also on the horizon for Condor in 2019 is a new K9 harness, not yet named. It’s streamlined for weight and attaches with a Cobra buckle. A matching leash has a hand loop, D-ring end, and web-covered elastic in the middle. Expected price point is $70-80 for the set.
Armor and K9 gear were big this year at SHOT, and Condor is keeping up with the times with these new options.
