At this year’s SHOT Show, Leupold debuted new and innovative gear that many outdoorsmen would find useful. Such as the RX-2800 TBRw, Leupold’s new RBX-3000 range finding binoculars, and the LTO Tracker 2 and the LTO Tracker 2 HD.
Known for quality scopes, Leupold also offers some excellent range finders and showcased their new RX-2800 TBRw rangefinder, at this year’s show. The “w” designation indicates a wind reading capability. The MSRP for the RX-2800 TBRw is $600.
To combine range finding with a Leupold quality binocular the company introduced the BX3000. This new 10×42 binocular combines with a long distance rangefinder of accuracy out to 3000 yards. No doubt the BX3000 will prove beneficial for the extreme long range hunter and shooter. MSRP will be $3000 and will soon be available.
The newest technology from Leupold comes in the line of two different upgraded HD Thermal monocular style range finders. The LTO Tracker 2 and the LTO Tracker 2 HD are designed to be compact and lightweight showing heat signature of game and blood trails. (see featured image)
Although the original LTO Tracker offered the same performance these new models go above and beyond the norm.
Features such as a beacon mode that recalibrates for detection even in hot environments, dimmable display, increased thermal sensor resolution, with 600 to 750 yard overall detection distance depending on the model. Both units are offered in six different color patterns and will detect temperatures from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 572 degrees Fahrenheit.
MSRP for the LTO Tracker 2 is $1040. MSRP on the LTO Tracker 2 HD is $1560. Both of the Trackers are designed and assembled in the USA. All of Leupolds new offerings can be found at www.leupold.com
