Take In This Spectacular Scene of an Angler Fly Fishing Alongside Bugling Elk

If you’re on the mountain with a bow in your hand, an elk’s bugle will nearly cause your heart to pound out of your chest. It’s a sign of your preseason scouting paying off, and the game of cat and mouse is officially on.

For most big game hunters, that unmistakable sound is a thing of beauty and really makes it difficult to focus on just about anything else.

Not for this angler!

As you’ll see in the video, this lucky gentleman tossing flies in the river ended up with a front row seat to some killer elk action not even 50 yards away! His focus remains on the water, though, and he barely acknowledges the elk. There must be some big fish in front of him!
