The New YETI Roadie 24 is a Fresh Take on a Classic

The Roadie was one of YETI’s first – and most popular – cooler designs. Now, after years of being in production, the brand developed a fresh new look for one of their cornerstone products.
Returning to the drawing board, the team of designers over at YETI took special note of the original Roadie’s most common criticisms: not enough interior space, the handle wasn’t quite up to par, and it was too heavy for its size. Yeti precisely corrected these flaws, and launched the all new, re-designed Roadie 24.
You’ll notice some of the major changes YETI made to their latest cooler right off the bat. For instance, the bulky metal handle is history and has been replaced with a ‘HeftyHauler’ handle, a durable but flexible strap that appears to be much more travel friendly. YETI also boasts how their new cooler is 10% lighter, performs 30% better thermally than its legendary predecessor and – perhaps most important – accommodates an upright bottle of wine. Game. Changer.
The brand also points out how the new slim design fits much better in the backseat of a car. It also features improved latches which should be easier to use than previous YETI models.
We haven’t got our hands on the new Roadie 24 just yet, but we’re excited to test it out soon to see if it holds up to YETI’s reputation – and a season of boating, camping, and hunting!
