Vortex Introduces New Sun Slayer Outerwear Lineup

This year we’ve seen some pretty incredible temperatures and heat in North America. On the heels of last years lockdowns, a lot of you are probably feeling the heat and light a bit more than usual this year and that is why Vortex has just released their new lineup of Sun Slayer clothing that aims to keep you outside longer without subjecting your skin to dangerous levels of UV radiation. The new lineup features clothing for both men and women and includes hoodies, shirts, shorts, and other clothing accessories aimed at keeping you outside but out of the sun.

The new clothing lineup offers UPF 50 sun protection and flexible fabric that stretches just enough to be comfortable but not enough to become warped over repeated use. The Sun Slayer lineup also includes both moisture-wicking technology and antimicrobial construction meaning you’ll stay both dry and smelling fresh even after a long day out in the hot sun.

The men’s Sun Slayer Hoodie comes in sizes ranging from small all the way up to 4X-Large and comes in a variety of colors and even a few camouflage patterns. The hoodie features an integrated Chamois cloth at the hem and roll-down cuffs for that extra bit of sun protection for when you need it. The Sun Slayer Hoodie will be sold for $54.99.

The Women’s Weekend Rucker Shirt comes in a variety of different colors and is sold for $39.99 or $49.99 for the long-sleeved version. The Sun Slayer Weekend Rucker features an additional Stain Release technology to keep your fabric looking fresh even if you’ve taken a spill in the mud, or dropped a bit of tailgating food on your new shirt. The entire Sun Slayer lineup from Vortex will be made from 100% polyester, will be machine washable, and come with Vortex’s lifetime warranty
