For long-time fans of the brand and of AR-15 rifles, some good news was dropped at the beginning of August with Bushmaster Firearms’ announcement of their official return to the industry. As part of their return, Bushmaster says they will be bringing some of their most popular rifles back immediately and will continue to work towards the production of both 450 bushmaster firearms as well as the often coveted Bushmaster ACR platform.

Sun Naegele is making a move from his current position as Director of Marketing at Franklin Armory to his new position as CEO for Bushmaster Firearms. Hopefully, this return for the company bodes well for both the firearms industry and its customers. I know several people including myself who would love to get their hands on a Bushmaster ACR and who would also be proud to support another American firearms company. What are your thoughts on the return of Bushmaster to the firearms manufacturing industry?
