The Wrath 430 Compact Bullpup Crossbow from CenterPoint Archery

Just in time for the fall hunting season, CenterPoint Archery has introduced an all-new heavy-hitting crossbow. The New Wrath 430 crossbow features a lightning-fast 430-fps arrow speed, a new compact and lightweight design, and even includes ready-to-go optics, a quiver, and stirrups for an out-of-the-box hunting crossbow that delivers powerful shots. The new crossbow has just been made available on the CenterPoint website following a giveaway where one lucky winner had a chance to get one in advance. The new crossbow has a lot of great features that would make it perfect for hunting in heavily forested areas or even used in tandem with a vehicle or where space is otherwise limited for a larger bow.

The CenterPoint Wrath 430 includes a specified 430 feet-per-second arrow speed with the 400-grain arrows which translates to a 165-foot pound shot being delivered in what CenterPoint calls their smallest crossbow in their lineup. The draw weight of the Wrath 430 is dialed in right at 200 lbs but as an added benefit, CenterPoint thought ahead and made the Wrath 430 compatible with hand cranking devices should the shooter need the additional assistance.

The new Wrath crossbow comes in at just 13-inches wide (undocked) making it very narrow and easy to carry around (the bow is further reduced in size down to 9″ when cocked). In addition, the crossbow is just a hair over 28-inches long which includes the detachable quiver. The rope cocking sled is incorporated into the design of the Wrath as is the bows included 4x32mm illuminated scope. The Wrath also comes with three 20″ 400-grain carbon arrows with field points which should get you primed for hunting season with a lot of good practice provided you don’t lose the arrows.

The bow also includes rail-mounted string stops which eliminate vibration and noise, as well as folding stirrups that double as a makeshift bi-pod or stand for more stabilized shots. One final set of features I noticed were that the bow also includes oversized finger guards and even an anti-dry fire trigger which increases safety for the shooter and the integrity of the bow’s components. The new CenterPoint Wrath 430 crossbow comes with a 5-year limited warranty and will be sold for an MSRP of $649.99.

Our new Wrath 430 is truly ideal for hunters in close-quarters and allows the shooter easier mobility when needing to make quick and quiet adjustments while in pursuit of the game they’re chasing,
