The Bristol Line From TriStar Arms Adds 16 Gauge Options
Nicolas Lenze 12.02.21
The 16 gauge shotgun shell has served hunters when taking upland birds, grouse, rabbits, and more. The versatility of the chambering is not lost on hunters, nor does it evade the minds of shotgun makers, such as TriStar Arms. Producers of classic side-by-side hunting shotguns, TriStar has added the 16-gauge as an option to its Bristol line.
TriStar Arms is known for bringing high-value, quality firearms to market at affordable prices. A year ago that talent was expressed with the Bristol side-by-side shotguns which offer the traditional elegance and functionality of a classic side-by-side shotgun at an achievable price that doesn’t deter field use.
TriStar Bristol Line Now With 16 Gauge Options
Previously available in 12, 20, 28, and .410, the two Bristol side-by-side shotguns are now also available in 16 gauge. There are two options available. While both use Turkish Walnut, the first features an English stock and case color receiver. The other sports a nickel finish with 24K gold inlay. Both shotguns have two chrome-lined 28″ barrels, which are topped with a brass front sight. You can select which barrel fires first by moving the safety to the left or right. Up and down movement will activate or deactivate the tang-mounted safety. These shotguns both come with five Beretta-style choke tubes: Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Mod, Imp Mod, and Full. Instead of a dual trigger, a single selective trigger.
