All models of the reels are made by the skilled and renowned Hardy Bros master craftsmen across the pond in the heart of Alnwick, England. Each 1912 Fly reel uses the namesake iconic 1912 Check Mechanism, the original mechanism from all those years ago. The spool sticks to the classic narrow spool design, that is machined from high-quality bar stock aluminum that is finished with a deep gunmetal anodized coating. The 1-piece spindle is made of durable naval brass and the line guide is made from red agate. The 1912 Perfect Fly Reel comes in both left and right-handed models and in 2 7/8in and 3 1/8in reel size. MSRP for all models is $895.
