[SHOT 2024] Coast’s New Voice Controlled Hands Free Headlamp

Coast announced the launch of its innovative voice-controlled headlamp designed to facilitate hands-free operation, a feature that is heretofore unseen in headlamps. In addition to the headlamp, the company also introduced its new Slayer Pro series of flashlights, which include models with different lighting modes and a laser feature.

The new headlamp is tailored for situations where users might have their hands occupied or dirty, such as when working with machinery or during butchering tasks. Users can control the headlamp through 12 distinct voice commands, adjusting brightness, color, and turning the lamp on and off without physical contact. This advancement is poised to enhance practicality in various settings requiring specialized lighting.

Furthermore, Coast has extended its product line with the Slayer Pro series — this includes the standard Slayer Pro, the Slayer Pro Red, and the Slayer Pro Laser rechargeable waterproof handheld flashlights.

The standard Slayer Pro boasts a maximum output of 1150 lumens with a reach of 130 meters. It features both fixed focus and an adjustable beam to cater to specific lighting requirements. For those who need an added dimension to their illumination, the Slayer Pro Red offers both a white beam and a red flood option, providing versatility in low-light conditions where preserving night vision is essential.

Lastly, the Slayer Pro Laser comes equipped with a white spot beam and a laser, offering precision for tasks that require pinpoint accuracy.
