At SHOT Show 2024, Howa introduced a new addition to their lineup, the Superlite Short Barrel rifle, noteworthy for its lightweight and compact design. This rifle features a 16-inch threaded barrel fitted with a radial brake and is particularly designed for ease of transport in mountainous terrain. Users can maintain compactness even when a suppressor is added due to the rifle’s minimalistic build.
The Superlite Short Barrel rifle is available chambered in a range of calibers including .308, .243, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 7mm-08. Potential buyers can select from stock colors such as grey, green, tan, and an option with a camouflage pattern. The base rifle has been priced at an MSRP of $1089, and Howa plans to offer a Vortex scope equipped package at a later date.
