The Taurus GX4 was met with a lot of praise back upon its release in the Spring of 2021. The American-made 9mm micro compact had a particularly good trigger and was able to capitalize on existing holster designs in order to make it an instant financial success. However, what was different about the American-made GX4 is that it was quite expensive compared to how Taurus usually prices its guns. That’s why Taurus is proud to introduce the new more affordable GX2 pistol which is essentially a stripped-down, Brazillian-made version of the GX4.

The GX 2 is actually being released in two different variants including one standard blacked-out variant for an MSRP of $310, while the Stainless slide variant will set you back an additional $15 at $325. Both of these will likely be seen for an in-store price for much less but that still puts them in very affordable territory, especially if they turn out to be reliable and safe.
