[SHOT 2025] 5.11 Releases Extreme Cold Weather Gear and Much More!

SHOT Show 2025 is officially underway and that means we can expect droves of new products from some of our favorite manufacturers. This has never been more true for 5.11 as they have delivered to us an exclusive collection of Extreme Cold Weather (ECW) gear, new Multicam colorways in a variety of products, and even more EDC (everyday carry) tools for when you have to catch up on some errands in town. First on deck in a long line of new products are some T-shirt collaborations between 5.11 and SIG Sauer. If you want to be the envy of all of your friends at the gun range and potential pay homage to one of your favorite gun brands in SIG Sauer, then you need these T-shirts in your life. SIG SAUER x 5.11: Range Ready Bag Collaborations

The bro-mance continues between 5.11 and SIG Sauer as their collaborative efforts extend into a lineup of bags and backpacks for the range as well. These are the same tried-and-true bags that 5.11 has touted for sometime now, but you have the ability to rep SIG Sauer and once again make all of your SIG mates jealous on range day.

Multicam V.XI

Next on the docket for new arrivals are the V.XI professional uniforms that were announced last year, but with a twist. Now, these heavily-sought after uniforms are available in a Multicam colorway. This will be applicable to 6 products from 5.11 – four of which are available now – and two other items will become available later this year in the Q3 or fall time frame.

Now, something for the ladies, a new tactical legging has been debuted to be as agile, strong, and flexible as the women who may wear these in their everyday life. Whether it is for a long outdoor session on the gun range, juggling the demands of everyday life, or slaying a CrossFit workout, the Athene Legging at an MSRP of $98 should be able to respond to all of your demands for an active lifestyle.

5.11 Founder’s Jacket: Professional & Practical

The new 5.11 Founder’s Jacket – which was teased by 5.11 in their booth at SHOT Show 2024 – has been in the hands of several of our staff members for roughly 1 year now. After some extra field testing by us and many others, this professional yet versatile jacket is ready to hit the market. Formally announced about 1 week ago, the Founder’s Jacket has an MSRP of $160 in a “Regular” or $194 for a “Tall” and can be thrown in your washing machine, crammed into luggage, and still come out looking fresh for all of your fast-paced travel needs.

Something else outdoorspeople will love is the growth of woodland camouflage across all manner of products. Load Bearing Products: Backpacks and Low-Vis Offerings

With a new year comes new load bearing gear for whether you are traveling cross country to the range, or for a deployment. First up, is the RUSH® Sierra One Multicam Backpack donning that ultra-popular Multicam colorway and has been purposefully designed with the help of SWAT Teams. So, this can be employed out in the field as a modular carry bag for a sniper or a host of other uses. Next, is the LVC48 from the Low-Vis Carry collection (LVC). With a business casual aesthetic, this bag can blend into an urban jungle environment as well as pull duty on the range. Finally, there is the UCR Backpack. GORE-TEX x 5.11: Footwear Collaborations

We have another collaboration to craft improved products, and this time it is between GORE-TEX and 5.11 Tactical. They have struck a partnership for a new, improved series of footwear with the A/T™ Elite GTX grouping of boots and shoes. These are ready for duty, sport, or whatever your life demands.

In partnership with the GORE-TEX Brand, 5.11 is excited to share new waterproof options for all varieties of terrains and conditions. 5.11 has taken its most technologically advanced duty boot and enhanced it with GORE-TEX product technology, offering industry-leading all-weather performance footwear. The boots, built with full-grain leather and high-abrasion mesh upper with 3D welded construction, tacked on top of an A/T footbed platform to provide additional support and comfort for work weight, are made for comfort and lasting load-bearing support. With a 5.11 x Vibram® full-rubber ASTM-rated outsole for slip-and oil-resistance, the A/T Elite GTX is ready for any mission.

This next collection of boots were constructed and built for the US Army and meets their uniform regulations for duty. The new Taclite 2.0 8″ AR 670-1 (MSRP $165) and Speed 4.0 Desert RapiDry 8” (No MSRP yet) offer an oil and slip-resistant outsole for traction, an Echo Lite EVA midsole for cushioning, an Ortholite® insole for comfort, and a 5.11 A/T support plate for torsional stability. All good attributes in a hard-use, military boot.

A final boot within the US Army, uniform regulation approved footwear line is the A/T™ 8” AR 670-1 boot (MSRP $180.00). This uses 5.11’s signature A.T.L.A.S. (All Terrain Load Assistance System) technology – which has been out for a number of years now and proven itself – so you can be doing load bearing activities all day long and for months to come. There is also the A/T™ BOA® Lite (MSRP $190.00) which is modeled after the popular A/T Trainer 2.0. This shoe is meant for all manner of fitness and workouts.

Also, don’t forget about 5.11 updates to the Stache Sneaker (MSRP $95) and PT-R™ Inure Runner (MSRP $125) as well. Both will be available in new colorways. The Stache, 5.11’s renowned collaborative shoe with TheFirearmBlog’s James Reeves (TFBTV), will be released in grey, and the PT-R Inure, every cardio guru’s favorite, will be newly offered in two new shades: ranger green and kangaroo. EDC Tools

Next, we have some much more simple products that still add a lot of value to our daily lives. These EDC (everyday carry) carabiners are “more than meets the eye” because they have a bunch of tiny tools and utility built into them to make them as useful as possible.

The last of the EDC tools is a simple pen. Unassuming yet powerful beyond its appearance, this is something that you could bring with you through an airport, hospital, or somewhere else where traditional self-defense tools are not allowed. The new Kubaton Tactical Pen has an MSRP of $34.

Beyond Clothing® Extreme Cold Weather (ECW) Collection

Lastly, we have something very new that most people never saw coming with the Beyond Clothing® Extreme Cold Weather (ECW) Collection that was unveiled. Beyond Clothing® is a 5.11 affiliate company and they joined 5.11 at their booth showcasing the brand’s cutting-edge expeditionary apparel displaying its new line of Extreme Cold Weather (ECW) products. For now, there are no MSRPs yet, but we’re sure those will come soon. From their appearance, these items look to be pretty hefty and warm if you live somewhere where your thermometer might show you negative numbers.
