The Outdoor Group Presents a Couples’ Sporting Retreat with Marshall and Lindy Teague at Honey Lake Plantation Resort and Spa

From November 1-4, 2012, the Teague’s will be at the world-class Honey Lake Plantation Resort & Spa. The event will be limited to seven couples on a first-come basis. Marshall Teague has been entertaining film and television audiences for over 30 years. He may best be known for his role in the 1989 cult movie, Road House and for his recurring role on the 1990’s science fiction series,Babylon5. Marshallhas also starred in the 1996 film The Rock and the 1998 movie Armageddon. He also played Black Jack Pershing in the film, Rough Riders including in a number of TV appearances. What may beMarshall’s best work yet is his starring role in the Last Ounce of Courage slated to open in theaters this September.

The Couples Sporting Retreat begins with an arrival on the afternoon of Thursday, November 1, 2012. After check in, guests will enjoy a plantation tour and a cocktail reception and dinner.

The fun begins after breakfast on Day 2 where shooters will enjoy a clay target warm up followed by a morning and afternoon quail hunt. From the comfort of our custom-designed Bird Buggy to our outstanding guides and bird dogs the fun will be non-stop. Non-shooting guests may sample other sporting activities such as trophy bass and bream fishing, kayaking or horseback riding. Or, they may spend the day enjoying a variety of treatments at the HoneyLakePlantation Spa. There are many other options, too, and a popular off-campus trip to the unbelievably quaint town ofThomasvilleis frequently requested.
