Woolrich Elite Series Partners With Shooting Champion Max Michel, Jr.

Woolrich Elite Series has signed world champion Max Michel, Jr. to a clothing sponsorship for the 2012 shooting season.
A multiple-time champion in United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) and Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA), Michel joins Team Blaster (3-Gun) and Mark Redl (International Defensive Pistol Association) as Woolrich Elite Series pro shooters.
“We’re proud to have the opportunity to partner with a competitor of Max’s skill and reputation,” said Jerry Rinder, vice president of sales. “In addition to being an elite competitor, Max’s service with the U.S. Army fits well with Woolrich Elite Series’ philosophy of supporting the military.”
In addition to wearing Elite Series gear at matches, Michel will serve as a member of an advisory board made of former special operations military and police officers. This board provides feedback and suggestions during the product development process.
“To compete against the world’s best, all of my gear has to be the best I can find,” Michel said. “If I’m uncomfortable or can’t move well in my clothing, it prevents me from performing at my peak. Woolrich Elite Series offers a fit and flexibility that allows me to go full speed.”
