There are many different hand-warming products out there on the market. Zippo is a brand with a line of quality products already established and they couldn’t see hand-warming products move forward without them. Zippo hand-warmers have been one of the company’s best-selling products for years, but has improved the product with advancements made to the catalytic burner, according to Kyle Kappmeier, Zippo’s PR person at SHOT Show.
In an email, Kappmeier said the product is so popular because it’s so versatile. “In addition to being popular among the outdoors enthusiasts, the Zippo Hand Warmer has endless applications, ranging from keeping winter sports enthusiasts warm, to soccer moms on the sidelines of their children’s games.” Based on popular demand, the company has unveiled a wider assortment of styles in Realtree AP and black matte finishes.
Also on display at the Zippo booth are Realtree AP camo and various NFL team logos emergency fire-starter kits and warming bags for the hand-warmers. In a press release, W.R. Case President Tom Arrowsmith said “Tec X is an exciting new brand extension for Case.” The knives are designed for the lifestyles of everyday customers. At the W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. their newest line of Tec X from the Case collection will be on display.
