This week on Student of the Gun: Ken Hackathorn Carbine Course and Thinking with Guns

This week we honor our veterans, past and present, and those who gave their lives for this nation as we visit the Chalmette Battlefield, the site of the Battle of New Orleans during the War of 1812.  We’re on the road again in NE Texas for a carbine training course taught by legendary firearms instructor Ken Hackathorn.

We take a look at the chest holster and some reasons you might use one, as well as how to safely employ such a rig.  Finally, we consider the Ballistic Problem Solving course and discuss why it is so important to think and then shoot.

All of the new episodes of Student of the Gun will be available for instant viewing by simply going to http://www.studentofthegun.com.  “During the first two seasons we were constantly asked if our shows were available online. For SOTG 3.0 we will be putting each and every one of the 26 new episodes online for all to see.” said Paul Markel host and producer.  “The feature episode for each week will be up for viewing each Tuesday evening.”
