Crosman 01.15.13
Quiet Power of Next Generation Nitro Piston Technology
Crosman Corporation, long known for innovative, high quality products for the shooting sports, has introduced the new, TR77 NPS break barrel air rifle powered by Nitro Piston technology. The TR77 NPS is a super quiet, high powered .177 caliber air rifle featuring a CenterPoint 4x32mm precision scope and an ambidextrous, all-weather, synthetic stock.
According to Crosman Product Manager, John Alvord, “The Crosman TR77 NPS features ultra-quiet Nitro Piston technology, providing a quiet shot, smooth cocking, less recoil and quicker locking time.” Weighing in at less than 8 pounds, this powerful break barrel boasts 18 foot pounds of energy (fpe) “more than enough for your pest control needs or a fun day of precision target shooting,” said Alvord.
The TR77 NPS has a rifled steel barrel for greater accuracy, an adjustable, two-stage trigger and dovetail mounting rail. The all-weather stock is comfortable, lightweight and, behind the recoil pad, is a convenient storage area for ammo. The newly designed muzzle break offers a comfortable grip for cocking, while the TR77 NPS pistol grip and textured forend provide stability when using the artillery hold. “With velocities of up to 1,200 fps, this super quiet air rifle really sizzles,” Alvord says.
The TR77 NPS has an MSRP of $200, and will be available at retail in summer, 2013. Crosman Corporation will exhibit the TR77 NPS air rifle with its entire product line at the SHOT Show 2013 in Las Vegas from January 15-18.
