Pigman: The Series Returns to Old Mexico for a Monumental Whitetail and Javelina Hunt

What happens in Mexico…returns to Mexico. Brian “Pigman” Quaca and his crew decide it’s time to return to Old Mexico after a successful hunt there two years ago. Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, brings viewers south of the border to experience high adrenaline hunting at Rancho El Zancudo. Pigman’s patience is put to the ultimate test and his reward is more than he could ever expect. Don’t miss Pigman’s unforgettable journey into a high concentration of game on Sunday, May 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The overall good feelings of Old Mexico begin upon arrival as the Mayor of Nuevo Laredo welcomes Pigman’s crew with open arms. The team did not have to wait long in their ground blinds before whitetail bucks, pigs and javelinas begin to show themselves. The bucks in the area are known to be massive and despite his itchy trigger finger, Pigman is encouraged to put down his bow with hopes of waiting for the “right” buck. Eventually, the moment of truth presents itself and he places a perfect shot into the largest buck he has ever harvested. Pigman pulls full draw and connects on an 11-point buck that scores just over 164.

“This is the biggest buck I have ever taken, period,” said Brian “Pigman” Quaca, host of Pigman: The Series. “Our entire crew had a chance to harvest big time game and there is always something special about hunting in Old Mexico. Having a chance to also take several javelinas was also a thrill. We have no plans of waiting two-years pass until our next visit to Old Mexico – this was a blast!”
