It seems odd that Brian “Pigman” Quaca still has “firsts” to encounter when it comes to hunting big game. But on this week’s Pigman: The Series, Quaca experiences his first Nebraska whitetail hunt – on opening day – with Hornady’s Neil Davies and his two kids. Pigman and Davies are tuned in to find giant plains whitetail, and later, they take Davies’ two young boys out for turkey and doe hunt. Since they arrived at Grand Island, Neb., a day before opening day, they decided to kill time by visiting the Hornady factory for a tour. “Every single round of ammo is hand-inspected and their gun room is amazing,” said Brian “Pigman” Quaca, host. “Anything you can imagine is there to test and their ammo is the best.”
On opening day, the motley crew heads out with a simple bet of who is going to fill their tags first – and it won’t take long for viewers to see who quickly slams that bet down. “Being my first time hunting in Nebraska, and on my first day, there was no way I was going to let a buck walk by me – they are going to walk right onto my wall,” said Quaca.
