Gander Mountain Coming to Woodbridge, VA

Autumn means hunting, hiking, fitness and the great outdoors for many Virginians. In 2014 it will also mean new opportunities for outdoors enthusiasts to find great prices, the top selection and friendly service when shopping for the best in gear and apparel. Gander Mountain is once again expanding the nation’s largest and fastest growing network of outdoor specialty stores with a new location in Woodbridge, VA, set to open in the fall.

Gander Mountain in Woodbridge will be located in an existing 78,000-square-foot space at 14041 Worth Avenue in Woodbridge, adjacent to the Potomac Mills® shopping center, Virginia’s largest outlet mall featuring more than 200 stores. It will be the fifth Gander Mountain location in Virginia, joining existing stores in Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Roanoke and Winchester. The store is expected to create up to 70 new jobs in the community.

Gander Mountain’s newest store will feature one of the largest selections of new and used firearms in Virginia, together with the best selection of gear and accessories for hunting, fishing, camping, boating and archery. The store will offer an extensive selection of men’s and women’s active performance outdoor and casual apparel featuring exciting brands like The North Face, Columbia, Under Armour, GSX, Carhartt, Guide Series and Kühl, and a wide variety of men’s and women’s active footwear featuring brands like Asics, Merrell, Rocky, Reebok, Reef, Keen, Irish Setter, Teva, New Balance, Patagonia, Timberland, LaCrosse, Itasca, Saucony and Salomon.

Customers will enjoy easy access to Gander Mountain’s unmatched selection of new and used firearms around the country, whether the firearms are located at other stores, in central distribution facilities or on Gander Mountain’s market-leading online store. Customers may order firearms and have access to all of Gander Mountain’s other terrific merchandise by using simple online order kiosks with easy delivery and pick-up at their favorite Gander Mountain store.
