Left-Handed STAR Rifle Stocks Now Available in Remington 700 Short Actions
OutdoorHub 06.04.14
For all you lefty Remington short action fans, Sisk Rifles has now added left-handed Remington 700 short actions (and all their clones) to the right-handed short, and left and right long actions already available in STAR (Sisk Tactical Adaptive Rifle) stocks.
Riflemaker Charlie Sisk is right-handed, but he’s built enough custom rifles for lefties (as well as women and kids who don’t fit the off-the-shelf stocks that dominate the market) that he can tell by just looking at you what shape, length and configuration stock you need to shoot easily.
Fit is his passion, as is accuracy, both in making rifles as well as making rifle stocks conform to the shooter’s body, rather than the other way around. That’s why he designed the STAR® stock. And why he designed it to drop any Remington 700 action left, right, short and long, (or Rem 700 clone) right into the stock and secure it with only 2 screws.
It’s the bobbing and weaving gyrations shooters go through trying to find their scope’s field of view that drives him nuts, when all it takes to have a perfect fit is 2 screws: start with a STAR® stock, then drop your favorite old-or brand new-Rem 700 action into the best fitting stock you’ll ever have. It changes with you and your shooting style, making it the last stock you’ll ever need. (You may want others, but you won’t need them.)
The complete STAR rifle stock is now available for left-handed Remington 700 short actions (and all their clones) for $1395.
Complete left- and right-handed rifles are available, built to order, for $6495.
