SWAROVSKI OPTIK NORTH AMERICA, a subsidiary of the Austrian-based company, is excited to announce Episode 3 of its Season 4 show SWAROVSKI OPTIK Quests: With the Eyes of a Hawk. Through the use of rugged, precise, diamond-bright optics, glassing and hunting for the hidden trophy has never been easier.
And that statement holds true for the challenging Aoudad hunt that SWAROVSKI OPTIK NORTH AMERICA CEO, Albert Wannenmacher, and National Sales Manager, Dustin Woods, take on in Episode 3 of SWAROVSKI OPTIK Quests. Guide Rusty Hall and host Dean Capuano are on-hand, but its Albert and Dustin’s job to bring down the barbary sheep.

The Aoudad blends in so well in this environment and these animals have incredible eyesight. “The Aoudad hunt in Texas was a very special experience,” said Dustin Woods. “Between the extremely harsh terrain and the elusiveness of the sheep, the hunt proved to be a real test. I was particularly impressed with the eyesight of the Aoudad and at the distance in which they would spot us. To have a chance at these animals we absolutely had to find them at great distances and before they spotted us. Without high quality optics we would not have stood a chance.”
This ground-breaking series is airing this summer and fall on The Outdoor Channel.
