It’s “Battle of the Bows” Time at Petersen’s Bowhunting

There might be a lot of hype for the upcoming NFL and College Football seasons, but nothing matches the year-round anticipation for the fall hunting season. Enter Petersen’s Bowhunting’s 1st Annual “Battle of the Bows” presented by Scent Lok, where America votes for their favorite compound bows and crossbows!
The online “bracket” challenge format is similar to the NCAA Basketball Tournament bracket — with a few twists. Voting starts on Tuesday, August 19th until a champion is crowned on Friday, September 23rd at 12 noon EDT. Vote now: http://www.bowhuntingmag.com/battle-of-the-bows/.
Here’s how it works:
There are 32 bows in four regions or categories (16 compounds and 16 crossbows) with five voting rounds and prizes awarded after each round. The winning bow of each voting matchup will proceed to the next round, until the FINAL FOUR is reached, and then an eventual winner.
Similar to the hugely successful G&A Madness promotion, where millions of votes were tallied this spring at the Guns & Ammo website, bowhunting and archery enthusiasts will be voting for their favorite compounds and crossbows non-stop over the course of the 5-week “tournament” and registering to win great sponsor prizes like Scent Lok camouflage hunting apparel, Zeiss binoculars, Rage Broadheads, Kodiak Trail Cameras and GPS hunting chips from OnX Maps.
Fans of Petersen’s Bowhunting, Bowhunter, North American Whitetail, Petersen’s Hunting, Game & Fish and Sportsman Channel all know that bowhunting season can’t begin without crowning a champion in the Battle of the Bows!
“Our consistent goal is to provide engaging content and fun promotions to our online audience, while lifting the brands of our valued clients and bow manufacturers,” stated David Grant, VP Digital Sales. “We know that bowhunters and archery enthusiasts have their favorite bows and want their voices to be heard – Battle of the Bows gives them that platform, along with a chance to win some great prizes.”
