1903 World Record Giant Sea Bass

According to the Library of Congress, this monstrosity was caught in 1903 by Edward Llewellen. This giant sea bass was reeled in near Catalina Island, California and weighed 425 pounds! This record fish was surpassed in 1968 by a 563-pound giant sea bass caught by James McAdam, Jr.
