How Gerald Swindle Got Into Professional Bass Fishing

Gerald Swindle, one of the top qualifiers in the 2012 Bassmaster Classic, almost never made it to the public eye of the professional bass fishing world. He wanted to be a stand-up comedian. Now, he is competing in his 12th Bassmaster championship and holds numerous awards and prize earnings in bass fishing. He’s moving up the ladder, having taken fifth place at Bassmaster in 2001, then third place in 2005; he’ll definitely be one to watch out for at 2012’s tournament.
