What is your everyday carry (EDC)? These are the items you simply don’t leave home without, and it can vary greatly from person to person. In this article we have compiled a list of the EDC items carried by both men and women of all walks of life across the United States. An individual’s age, gender, and occupation can have a huge affect on what he or she will—or can—carry, and this sample provides a neat snapshot into what the average American with a CCW has rolling around in their pockets.
There’s plenty of conclusions that can be made here, but mostly it’s an interesting comparison to see. One thing that might be skewed in this list is the above-average amount of high-priced knives. An expensive knife is definitely not mandatory for self-defense or practical daily use, but you’d better believe that their owners love showing them off.
