This is the opportunity for local catfish anglers to compete for $10,000.00 in cash, prizes and a chance to advance to the Cabela\u2019s King Kat Classic. This year&#8217;s Cabela&#8217;s King Kat Classic will be held September 26-28, 2013 on Kentucky Lake at Camden, Tennessee. Be sure to check out our new website at: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kingkatusa.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.kingkatusa.com<\/a>. It&#8217;s a new site with new and exciting information on our events along with special information for catfish anglers everywhere.<\/p> <p><strong>Registration<\/strong><\/p> <p>Late registration will be held on Thursday the 13th at Holiday Inn Express, 100 Civic Center Dr. in Charleston from 5-7 pm. Captains Meeting\/Seminar will follow at 7pm. Must be a member of the King Kat Association to fish this event. A one year membership is $25.00.<strong><\/strong><\/p> <p>To pre-register go on line to: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kingkatusa.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.kingkatusa.com<\/a> or call 270-395-6774.<\/p> <p>Legal waters for the event will be: Anglers may fish the Kanawha River from the Winfield Dam to the Chelyan Bridge.<\/p> <p><strong>Weigh-In Site<\/strong><\/p> <p>The tournament weigh-in will be held at the Cabela&#8217;s Retail Store, 200 Cross Te. Tournament hours are6:30 AMuntil3:00 PM. All anglers must be in weigh-in line by 4:00 PM with a 5 fish limit per team. To help preserve the sport only live fish will be weighed in and all fish will be released after the tournament.
